The Vocalis Chamber Choir will be performing at Corpus Christi Church as part of the In the Light Concert Series on Sunday, October 20th, 2013 at 4:00pm.
Founded in September of 2002, Vocalis is a select ensemble of dedicated professionals based in Western New York committed to performing great a cappella music of all eras and to cultivating an awareness of the art of choral singing. The choir will be presenting Melodic Invention at Corpus Christi Church. From chant and classical, through folksong, jazz and pop, Vocalis presents some of the world’s greatest melodies. Experience extraordinary tunes from throughout history with the music of Mozart, Rachmaninov, Rodgers, Barber, and Bernstein, as well as folksongs of America and Ireland.
Tickets for the concert are $15.00, $10.00 for students with I.D. and free to children twelve and under.
Corpus Christi Church is located at 199 Clark St. in Buffalo, New York one block east of the Broadway Market in the heart of East Buffalo’s Historic Polonia.
