Corpus Christi Parish invites YOU to our Wigilia (traditional Polish Christmas dinner) Celebration on Sunday, January 13th, after the 11:00 a.m. Mass. The Canadian folk group Ludowa Nuta will sing during Mass (11 a.m.), accompanied by their traditional instruments, and continue the celebration in our Social Hall while dinner is being served. Tickets are $15 pre-sale. A limited number will be available at the door for $18.

Ludowa Nuta Choir will sing at the 11:30AM Mass on Sunday, December 1st. This folk chorus from southern Ontario, formed just eight years ago, has already made a reputation for itself and become a favorite not only in Canada, but also in the United States and Poland.
The one and only goal of Ludowa Nuta, as their director Vick Dudalski explains, is to promote Polish folk music Their colorful, traditional costumes are all made in Poland and their repertoire comprises songs from various regions of Poland. The chorus is accompanied by a typical Góralska Kapela which includes violins, double bass,koza and trombity.
On December 1st the choir will feature liturgical (Advent) music at the Mass and a Kolendowanie concert, a lovely medley of pastoralki from Żywiec, Spisz and Beskid Śląski regions of Poland. Join them for a pre-Christmas concert which will take the place of the Advent calendars of our youth in anticipation of the coming of our Lord.

The Ludowa Nuta Polish Canadian Folk Choir from Hamilton, Ontario will sing during and after the 10:00a.m. Polish Mass. Fr. Rafal Wilk, from Krakow, Poland, will be the guest celebrant for this Mass, and will offer the first in a series of Advent talks (given in Polish) as a spiritual readiness for Christmas. The series will continue at 7:00p.m. on December 6-8. Fr. Simon Shaner, Assistant at Corpus Christi, will offer a similar series in English at 7:00p.m. on December 9-11.
Also on December 5, the Niagara County All College Choir, under the direction of Brad Wingert, will sing during the 11:30a.m. English Mass. The All College Choir is comprised of students of all majors at Niagara County Community College.
