Here are the details:
This year’s multi-parish Corpus Christi procession between two historic Polonia churches is on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
There will be Mass at St. Stanislaus Church at Noon. Then the half-mile procession will begin at 1:00 p.m. from in front of St. Stanislaus Church, proceeds to outdoor altars, and conclude at Corpus Christi Church with benediction inside of the church.
All of Western New York’s faithful are welcomed to join in the procession and Mass. The Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ is a feast established in the church in the 13th century. Polish Roman Catholics carried the tradition with them to America, where it continues to this day as a unique religious public display.
There will be a light reception afterward in our Sears Street Hall.
