On Memorial Day – Monday, May 25, 2020 Corpus Christi Parish (199 Clark St. Buffalo) hosted visitors Susan and Philomena Vennari from North Buffalo and Nicholas Rao from Manhattan, NY.
“Thank you again for opening up the church and giving us the tour – Philomena said. Father was kind enough to show us around Corpus Christi church on Memorial Day. He guided us through the history of this church, and of the Polish community in East Buffalo, before taking us through the church itself, which is beautiful. We were particularly struck by the exquisite reliquary calendar in the sanctuary. It was a wonderful opportunity for our friend from New York City to see an authentic part of Buffalo. Thank you for generously giving your time”.
