On Wednesday, October 16, 2019 Corpus Christi Parish ( 199 Clark St. Buffalo) hosted author Janusz M. Szlechta and his daughter Justyna U. Wieczorek. Szlechta is the editor of the NYC Polish Newspaper “Nowy Dziennik”. He presented Fr. Michal Czyzewski with two of his most recent publications. His first, “Ulica Włóczegów” highlights the lives and struggles of countless homeless Polish people surviving on the streets of United State. “Oswajanie Ameryki” features a segment about our Corpus Christi Church and our beautiful Disputa. We would like to extend our gratitude to Janusz M. Szlechta for his powerful work and activism for Polonia. We wish him and his daughter, through the intercession of Our Lady of Czestochowa safe journey and success.
