Sr. Josanne Buszek, a Felician sister in residence at St. Stanislaus Convent shared stories of her life and vocation at Corpus Christi Church last Sunday (Sept. 6) following each Mass.

Sister Josanne was one of 13 children raised mostly by a single mother. She spoke of her answer to Jesus’ call to the convent in spite of having a boyfriend at the time, and of not regretting her decision ever since.

Sister Josanne presented a relic of the foundress of the Felician Order, Blessed Angela Truszkowska for veneration after Mass. One miracle has already been confirmed by the Vatican to have occurred due to the intercession of Blessed Angela. The confirmation of a second miracle will help Blessed Angela on the road to canonization as people continue to pray for her intercession.

Fr. Michał Czyźewski, Administrator of Corpus Christi Church, invited Sister Josanne to speak to his parishioners in observance of the Year of Consecrated Life as declared by Pope Francis
