The painting, created a few days ago, shows three people (from left): Martin Luther King Jr. (1929 – 1968), Mahatma Gandhi (1869 – 1948), and Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta (1910 – 1997) holding the rosary. The mural is located on the wall of the building at the Fillmore Ave. and William St., standing next to mural you can see the towers of Corpus Christi Church and St. Stanislaus Church. Through the newspaper, we ( Fr. Jan and Fr. Michal) thank the artist for this painting. May the attitude of these outstanding people help us to be better for each other.

On Tuesday, October 6, 2020 Corpus Christi Parish (199 Clark St. Buffalo) hosted author Janusz M. Szlechta. Szlechta is the editor of the NYC Polish Newspaper “Nowy Dziennik”. He presented Fr. Michal the latest edition of the newspaper with interesting articles.We would like to extend our gratitude to Janusz M. Szlechta for his powerful work and activism for Polonia. We wish him, through the intercession of Our Lady of Czestochowa safe journey and success.
Blessing of Animals on Sunday, October 11th
On October 4 (Sunday), people all over the world will celebrate the feast day of the Patron Saint of Animals, Saint Francis of Assisi. It’s customary that in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures, animals are led to churches for a special ceremony called the “Blessing of the Animals.” In our Corpus Christi Church blessing animals will be ion Sunday – October 11, after Mass.
