On October 4, people all over the world celebrated the feast day of the Patron Saint of Animals, Saint Francis of Assisi. It’s customary that in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures, animals are led to churches for a special ceremony called the “Blessing of the Animals.” In our Corpus Christi Church ( 199 Clark St. Buffalo), blessing animals was Sunday – October 6, after Masses.

Photos: Student and Teachers from St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy School Visit Corpus Christi
On October 3rd, Corpus Christi Church ( 199 Clark St., Buffalo ) was visited by the students and teachers of St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy School. The group attended Eucharistic Adoration which is offered in the evening every first Thursday of the month and during the day from 10 AM to 11.25 AM on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at Corpus Christi Chapel.
To help us celebrate the Month of the Rosary we would like to invite everyone to pray the rosary with us during Eucharistic adoration during the entire month of October. Come and join us!
