The Pauline Fathers Vote

Posted by admin on 11/03/2020

US presidential election.

On November 3 this year, The Pauline Fathers serving in the Corpus Christi Parish and St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr in Buffalo, fulfilling their civic duty, took part in the vote for the President of the United States.

During the morning Mass the Priests, together with people participating in the liturgy and praying the rosary, presented the intentions of the country in which they currently live and works.

After the breviary prayer, Father Jan Kolmaga and Father Michał Czyżewski, went to the vote for the President of the USA.

The presidential election in the United States in 2020 is already the fifty-ninth, which will result in the election of the forty-fifth or forty-sixth president of the United States for the next four years.

Blessing of the Image of Merciful Jesus in Pauline Father Chapel, Corpus Christi Church, Buffalo

Posted by admin on 10/22/2020

Blessing of the Image of Merciful Jesus in Pauline Father Chapel On the eve of the anniversary of Karol Wojtyła’s election to the See of St. Peter, on October 15, 2020, in the convent chapel of the Pauline Fathers in Buffalo, the image of Merciful Jesus was blessed.

The painting was blessed by Father Karol Jarząbek, parish priest of St. Stanislaus the Bishop and Martyr in New York City, Manhattan. This ceremony took place after the Vespers – monks prayer. All the members of the monastery took part in this act of blessings: Fr. Jan Kolmaga, Fr. Michał Czyżewski, Br. Angel Sokalski.

Father Karol was in Buffalo for his annual retreat, which this year, due to sanitary restrictions, are organized on an individual basis. Buffalo Monastery has been designated as one of the places where the Pauline Fathers of the American Province can experience their annual prayer recollection.

At the end ceremony of blessing, Father Jan Kolmaga read the Act of entrusting the whole world to Divine Mercy, spoken by the saint by St. John Paul II in 2002. This act of entrustment includes everyday affairs, parishioners, benefactors of the monastery and the diocese where, since 2004, religious men in white habits have served.

The painting was placed on the western wall of the house chapel, where the monks gather daily for common prayer.
