Corpus Christi Solemnity this weekend…

The Solemnity of Corpus Christi takes place next Sunday, June 6. Mass in Polish and English will be celebrated at 12 pm at St. Stanislaus Church. The traditional outdoor Procession will start after the Mass at St. Stanislaus and end at Corpus Christi Church.

A reception will follow in the Sears Hall. Please join us as we honor our Lord in a spirit of love!

Forty uninterrupted hours of Eucharistic adoration will be held in Corpus Christi Church from 7 pm Friday to 11 am Sunday this preceding the Solemnity.  Our church will be open day and night during this period. Please join us during this period…

This weekend’s Mass schedule will also be modified.

Saturday – 5:30 pm
Sunday – 8:15 am & 10 am (Polish Mass), No 11:30 am Mass

The Solemnity of Corpus Christi will be celebrated on Sunday June 6, with a Mass in Polish and English at noon at St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr Church, located at 123 Townsend St. in Buffalo.

A traditional outdoor Procession with the Blessed Sacrament to four altars will follow immediately afterward, and will end at Corpus Christi Church. A reception will follow in the Sears St. Hall.

This Feast, which dates to the 13th Century, celebrates the institution of the Sacrament of Holy Communion at the Last Supper.

Leading up to the Solemnity of Corpus Christi is Forty Hours of Adoration of the Holy Eucharist, which will be held between 7:00p.m. Friday June 4 and 11:00a.m. on Sunday June 6 in the main church. All are invited to sign up for an hour of adoration and to join in the Corpus Christi devotions.

Memorial Day BBQ @ Corpus Christi

MEMORIAL DAY

Enjoy a picnic with friends at Corpus Christi!

All you can eat, rain or shine. The BBQ will be held after the 11:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, May 23 – the weekend before the holiday.

The menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, potato & macaroni salads, Buffalo baked beans, watermelon, Ambrosia, iced tea, coffee, and soda. The picnic will take place at the rectory botanical garden. $6 adults, $3 children, under 12 free.
