Thank you to everyone who came out to our Wigilia on Sunday, January 13. The food, the music and worship were wonderful. (Thank you to Brenda Myc for these photos)

It was great to start the New Year 2019, by traveling with pilgrims to a place filled with the presence of Our Lady. During this blessed time, I prayed for the intentions of Corpus Christi Church in Buffalo, the Order of St. Paul the First Hermit, to which I belong, and for my family and friends. I had a wonderful time on this pilgrimage and I hope that I will always have fond memories of the trip.
I would like to extend my gratitude to the pilgrims for the time we spent together praying, sharing meals, and building memories and to the organizers who took care of us every step of the way.

On Thursday January 10, 2019 Fr. Michal Czyzewski (pastor of Corpus Christi Church in Buffalo), was invited to Saint Luke Mission – School. He prayed with the students and teachers. Fr. Czyzewski wrote over the classrooms doors with Catholic tradition of C +M +B. The letters C, M, B have two meanings: They are the initials of the traditional names of the three magi: Caspar, Melchior, and Balthazar. They also abbreviate the Latin words Christus mansionem benedicat, “May Christ Bless the house.” He also spoke about St. Paul the First Hermit, patron of the Pauline Fathers Community, whose feast we will celebrate on January 15.
