On May 7, 2019 Corpus Christi Church in Buffalo host Sr. Emily Lepage (Canada) and Sr. Pawła Wituła (Poland) from Congregation of the Sisters of Merciful Jesus in Pittsburgh.

Congregation was funded by Bl. Michał Sopoćko, confessor and spiritual director of St. Faustyna Kowalska, apostle of Divine Mercy in 1947.

The Sisters opened their new community in Pittsburgh PA, last year. All are welcome to visit Sisters at the Strip District.  “It was a pleasure to enter into such a beautiful church and find that the Devotion to Divine Mercy is so strong here, Please pray for us and we will keep you all in our prayers, especially at the Hour of Mercy” – Sr. Emily Lepage (Canada).

In the afternoon, Fr. Dominik Jezierski- pastor form Sacred Heart of Jesus and Shire in Bowmansville, NY came with Marcin Kapusta with his daughter Julia from Polkowice (Poland). Polish guests prayed in the front of the altar Our Lady of Częstochowa and they listened to the history of the parish.

We like to wish our visitors special grace and support form Blessed Virgin Mary, and say thank you to visit Corpus Christi Church.

Seminarians from Philadelphia visit Corpus Christi Church

Posted by admin on 04/26/2019

Seminarians form Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary of Philadelphia with FR. JAVIER SANTABALLA , RECTOR and FR. MARIANO DELLAGIOVANNA, VICE-RECTOR visited and pray at Corpus Christi Church on Thursday -April 25, 2019.

Parishioners of Corpus Christi Church like to support and pray for seminarians and for new vocation to the priesthood and religious life.

Prayer of John Paul II for Vocations

Lord Jesus, as You once called the first disciples to make them fishers of men, let your sweet invitation continue to resound: Come follow Me!

Give young men and women the grace of responding quickly to your voice. Support our bishops, priests and consecrated people in their apostolic labor.

Grant perseverance to our seminarians and to all those who are carrying out the ideal of a life totally consecrated to your service.

Awaken in our community a missionary eagerness. Lord, SEND WORKERS TO YOUR HARVEST and do not allow humanity to be lost for the lack of pastors, missionaries and people dedicated to the cause of the Gospel.

Mary, Mother of the Church, the model of every vocation, help us to say “yes” to the Lord who calls us to cooperate in the divine plan of salvation.

Amen
