On Sunday – May 19, during the Mass 11am Polish Mass, the Parish Community of Corpus Christi Church of Buffalo, NY congratulate Tadeusz Seternus as he celebrates his 60th birthday. On behalf of the Parishioners, the Pauline Fathers, and our Pastor Fr. Michał Czyżewski, on this special day we have offered him special gift, as recognition and thanks for the work he has done for our church. Mr. Seternus received a beautiful icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa.

Tadeusz is a dedicated parishioner and volunteer. He is a long time Usher serving in our church since 1998, and always volunteers to help clean and decorate the Church. Polonia also knows him as a gifted singer of beloved traditional Polish songs and as a talented chef. Tadeusz and his wife, Małgorzata, make delicious soups for the many occasions in our parish. We wish Tadeusz God’s blessing and protection from Our Lady of Czestochowa. Sto Lat!

On Friday, May 17th, Corpus Christi Church held its second Meat Raffle at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 4569 Broadway in Depew. We can say that it was a success.

Thanks to all who attended, and those who volunteered. Events like this can’t happen without your help, cooperation and support. We want to congratulate the winners and wish you Smacznego ( enjoy your meal).

On Good Shepherd Sunday May 12, the community of Corpus Christi Church in Buffalo prayed for new vocations to the priesthood and religious life as well as all seminarians who prepare for be shepherds of souls.

On this same day in the USA, we celebrated Mother’s Day. During liturgy we prayed for our mothers and for all mothers who are no longer with us. Mothers who participated in Holy Mass, received a special blessing, flowers, and an image of the Divine Mercy. During the Novena Masses (9 in total) we will continue to pray for all mothers living and deceased.
