Deacon Michael P. McKeating will give a series of Lenten talks at Corpus Christi beginning on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 7:00p.m. and continuing at the same time for the five following Monday nights. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n
The topics will be:
\n\u25cfFeb. 22 – What Every Catholic Needs to Know about the New Age Movement.
\n\u25cfMar. 1 – The \u201cLittle Way\u201d of St. Therese of Lisieux.
\n\u25cfMar. 8 – The \u201cPurgative Way\u201d of St. Teresa of Avila .
\n\u25cfMar. 15 – Great Catholic Novelists of the 20th Century.
\n\u25cfMar. 22 \u2013 \u201cCharity in Truth,\u201d Pope Benedict\u2019s latest encyclical.<\/p>\n
Deacon McKeating has been ordained for 30 years and has served at various Buffalo parishes besides Corpus Christi. He has B.A., M.A., and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Buffalo, and a M.A. degree in Theology with Honors from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is the author of a book on the Deposit of Faith entitled O Timothy!, published by Xulon Press in 2007.<\/p>\n
