St. Stanislaus & Corpus Christi Churches commemorated the Solemnity of Corpus Christi with a procession in the streets of Buffalo, New York’s Historic Polonia, the Broadway Fillmore neighborhood. With their Polish roots, these churches continue to do the Corpus Christi procession much like their ancestor immigrant families did who first populated the neighborhood in the 1800s.

Leading up to the Solemnity of Corpus Christi is Forty Hours of Adoration of the Holy Eucharist, which will be held between 6:00 p.m. Friday June 08 and 11:00 a.m. Sunday June 10 in the main church.
Our church will be open through the forty hours day and night.
Please come spend some time with Jesus.
The Forty Hours Devotion is a special forty-hour period of continuous prayer made before the Blessed Sacrament in solemn exposition. Of course, the focus of this devotion is on the Holy Eucharist. As Catholics, the words of our Lord burn in our hearts: “I myself am the living bread come down from Heaven. If anyone eats this bread, He shall live forever; the bread I will give is my flesh for the life of the world” (John 6:51).
